BIG AWARD - Jason Kaylor was awarded Activities Director of the Year for Area F - which includes schools in Orange , Riverside and San Bernardino counties. He received this award last night at the CADA Conference in Reno. CONGRATULATIONS, Jason! We knew we had the best!!!
YLHS Honor Roll and Principal’s Honor Roll - has been decided and we will be sending out Honor Roll certificates to 239 students who earned a 3.5 to a 3.99 and Principal’s Honor Roll certificates to 100 students for earning a 4.0 or higher for the very 1st semester at YLHS. The GPA for this recognition includes all of a student’s classes with weighted and un-weighted grades for the 1st semester. Congratulations to all of our freshmen and sophomores who worked so hard during their first 18 weeks as a
Mustang. Great job everyone!!
FYI – The Yorba Linda HS “Reflection Pond” in the center of the quad will be drained in the next couple of weeks. A new drain will be installed.
Shade Structures for Lunch Tables - on both sides of the quad have been ordered and will cover 30’ x 120’ on both sides, along with a 20’ x 20’ shade structure in each corner. Installation should be completed in the next 8-10 weeks.
