Principal's Weekly Update #45

YLHS School Site Council - will meet today (Monday) to discuss the Single Plan for Student Achievement. A big thank you to Stacy Shube, the Language Arts department, Angelina Atmadja and the Math department for working with Jennifer to put this document together. Many hours were spent looking at where we are in Language Arts and Math and where we want to be next year and in years to come.

Mustang University 2010-2011 – sponsored by our PTSA will host College 101 this Wednesday evening, November 17th at 6:30 p.m. in the forum. This program will offer parents and students some very important information on planning for college.

A Big Thank You to everyone for your support of our Choices and Consequences Assembly - We all hope the message hits home with our students. I am a firm believer that in the years to come a returning student will let us know that activities such as our assembly on Wednesday, along with the Link Crew activities, made a difference in their life decisions. Thank you to Jason and ASB for all the extra time and energy they put into YLHS to bring special programs to our students. It was a great morning for all grades!
