PYLUSD Online Survey – Starting on March 3rd and continuing to March 17th, the online district survey will be sent to staff and parents via email for responses to twenty questions regarding classroom instruction, technology, campus safety and school-parent communications. Please make sure you take a few extra minutes to complete the survey. All of our site staff members will receive the survey and we are looking forward to the responses.
Students in 10th and 11th grades will be completing the survey during their World or European History class (10th) or US History or AP US History class (11th). Students will go into the computer pod areas with their teachers to respond to seventeen student centered questions. A Big Thank You to the Social Science department and all of you for taking the time to complete this survey.
Dr. Smith will be on campus – Tuesday, March 15th to visit classrooms and talk with staff.
CAHSEE – will be administered March 8th and 9th. All 10th grade students will be taking the exam in the gym from 8 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
National Honor Society - will have their “2011 Induction Ceremony” on Thursday, March 10th at 6:30 p.m. in the library. This is a terrific activity to recognize our students for academics and community service. A Big Thank You to Carmen Nicholson, advisor.
Congratulations! – Brent Hendry and the art students, Chanah Forg and Stefani Deschamps, for winning awards at the annual Placentia Yorba Linda Art Association competition and show. Our two Mustangs were competing against Senior AP Art students from other area high schools and won our very 1st YLHS art awards. Great job!!
