Principal's Weekly Update #64

Congratulations to our new Assistant Principal, Jason Kaylor! - Jason will “officially” move over to the main office in June and take on the duties related to Student Services. We are all excited to have him in this new position.

Talking about Student Services - I want to welcome Peyton Pike as our newest Counselor for 2011-2012. Peyton will join Lorri and Nancy in working with 1,850 YLHS students in planning their school classes, college plans and all areas related to student support services. Peyton comes to us with 13 years experience at El Dorado High

School. She brings with her experience and background in working with all grade levels, staff and parents. Look for a new “division” of counselor/student assignments as we welcome our newest “Mustang” to a great Student Services team.

“Mission Possible” Assembly was “terrific” - A Big Thank You to Jason, Shea and ASB for all their planning and dedication, along with our video presentation class, under the direction of Rich Cadra. Great Job Everyone!! We are ready for our mission – 900!

Thank you to our PTSA and PTSA Student Leadership Group – for the staff breakfast last Monday and the all staff luncheon on Wednesday. Everyone enjoyed the food and the chance to get together with other staff members. Again – THANK YOU YLHS PTSA & Student Leadership!!
