PTSA Meeting – Monday, 3/26 (tonight) @ 7:00 p.m. in the library
A Big Thank You - to the PTSA, parents, staff and students for a GREAT Mustang Pride Day on Saturday. PTSA Rep., Janis Heckel, with Shea and Jason coordinated our campus clean-up with over 150 students, 10 parent volunteers and our very own custodians and campus supervisors to help make it a great morning. Thank you again for helping to keep our campus looking good!
Campus Tours - Tuesday morning (3/27) @ 8:00 a.m., I will be heading up a PTSA sponsored tour of our campus. You may see about 20 parents enjoying a morning tour.
Friday morning (3/30) @ 9:00, we have a “special” guest tour with State Assemblyman Chris Norby, YL City Councilmember, Tom Lindsey, Dr. Smith, approximately 20 local community members and the board oversite committee members. I have asked for student representatives from PTSA and ASB to meet with our community members and help with the tours. YLHS orchestra will also be performing in the library for this distinguished group.
Renaissance Assembly – Friday, March 30 - We will recognize the following groups for their academics and “getting connected”. Renaissance Awards will go to:

YLHS Round-Up is Wednesday, April 4th - This is a great evening to see our incoming freshmen and their parents. Clubs, boosters and all of our elective programs have the opportunity to set up tables and talk with parents from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. From 7:00 – 8:30 p.m., Counselors and our Athletics Directors will be talking with parents while Shea Runge and the ASB meet with the current 8th graders to start getting them “connected.”
