PYLUSD School Board – will recognize the following at the School Board Meeting on Tuesday, May 7th.
Yorba Linda High School’s Distinguished School Award at 7:00 p.m. All staff members are welcome to participate in the very special recognition by our School Board. A very special student presenter will be with us to help with our recognition.
PYLUSD School Board will also honor our School District’s parent volunteers at 6:00 p.m. YLHS has
nominated Jim Hom, our parent volunteer for the past four years in the library. Jim started volunteering in our library the year we opened during registration and helping code our textbooks for distribution. He has continued to help students and staff over the past four years with classes using the computer lab, textbooks and distribution of library materials. A quote from Roseann; ”Not only is Jim the BEST volunteer I have ever had, but both his wife and daughter, Michelle, made volunteering in the library a family affair.” A BIG THANK YOU TO JIM HOM!!!

Congratulations to Bincins & the Jazz Bands I & II - for their performance at the 2013 Reno Jazz Festival. Our Mustangs placed 6th out of 20 top jazz bands for all the western states high schools and earned “superior rating” from the event judges. Great Job Jazz I & II. Thank you, Bincins!!
