School Site Council Opportunity!

The School Site Council works with the principal and other key staff to provide input regarding student progress and site level expenditures at YLHS. Members review the Single Plan for Student Achievement, make recommendations and modifications to the plan, as needed, and evaluate the progress of the school toward meeting the academic goals outlined within it. Moreover, the School Site Council approves expenditures based upon the goals set forth in the Single Plan.

We need two additional parents to serve a two year term on the School Site Council starting in October 2014. The School Site Council meets four times a year. Anyone interested should send their name and a very brief bio to Jamie Jauch at [email protected] by September 4th, 2014. These bios will be available online on September 5th. Voting will take place at Back to School Night.
