Congratulations to our 2015 Valedictorian and Salutatorians – Yorba Linda High School’s selection process focuses on the “Most Outstanding Scholars in the Graduation Class”. Gold Ribbon Award Visitation – Wednesday – March 25th - a five member team will be on campus to visit classrooms and talk to staff, students and community about our schoolwide “Step-Up-To-Writing program. Key focus areas include:
• Step-Up-To-Writing across the curriculum
• Performance task options
• Collaborate courses
Everyone is invited to a meet and greet on Wednesday morning at 7:30 a.m. in the library. Our Culinary Arts Program will provide breakfast items along with coffee and juice. Stop by and say “hello” to the five member team before they start their day visiting classes.
Did You Hear? - Mustang Pride Day was a huge success with over 160 students cleaning main campus and another 70 track and field students working with Mr. Gomez at the stadium. A Big Thank Y Ou to our PTSA – Janis Heckel and Mary Ann Robertson, along with our PTSA Student Leadership group for organizing our 2015 Mustang Pride Day!! Thank you to everyone that participated!

1) YLHS Renaissance Rally is Friday, March 27th. ASB will be recognizing over 200 students – getting connected – through academics, co-curricular programs, fine and performing arts and community service.
2) 2015 8th Grade Parent Round-Up is Wednesday, March 25th
• 6:00 – 6:45 will be booster club presentations in the quad
• 6:45 – 7:00 is a general meeting in the gym
• 7:00 – 8:00 parents will meet with counselors and students will have Link Crew activities in the gym
3) Good Luck to Abe Ochoa - as he competes in the National Wrestling Tournament in Virginia Beach, Virginia March 27 & 29th and Coach Forty!! Go Mustangs!!
