Congratulations to EVERYONE! – for a terrific first week! We have 1804 students on campus and I have heard many positive comments from students, parents and staff. Greg and the counselors are working to balance several “full” classes by the end of this week. It looks like we will be adding additional classes because of the increased numbers. Our goal is to have everyone settled into their schedules for Back to School Night on Wednesday, September 16th. Again, THANK YOU!!! This is a great school because of “ALL” you do!
More Great News for YLHS – We just received the 2015 College Board Senior Profile Report for YLHS. SAT results for our graduating Class of 2015 are:

ACT College readiness for YLHS is also reporting that 158 of our seniors took the curriculum-based tests for educational development in English, Mathematics, Reading and Science. YLHS students’ readiness for College-Level Coursework is as follows: YLHS State National College English Composition 90% 72% 64% College Algebra 75% 56% 42% College Social Science 72% 54% 46% College Biology 64% 46% 38% By “any measure” you are preparing our students for challenges of college curriculum.
