Back to School 2018, Wednesday, September 12 - was a terrific evening with over 1000 parents attending the event. Many positive comments, including “organized, energetic, positive, informative, prepared and awesome teacher!” Parent quotes included: “Great to meet our kid’s teachers.” “So many amazing teachers.” “Love the enthusiasm.” “My son is in good hands.” A BIG Thank You to teachers for preparing the parent presentations, Shea Runge and ASB for announcements, setting up the gym and student helpers. Thank you to Bincins Garcia and the YLHS Jazz Band for pre-meeting music, Fred and his staff for making our campus look the best it can be and office staff including campus supervisors helping direct parents, Denise for the teacher packets and Dr. Dinh for putting the event all-together. This was a great community event and brought a true connection between school and home.
