PTSA Parent Ed Night: "Building Resilience with our Teenagers" Wed, Jan 16th, 6:30pm

A talk about what we as parents and caregivers can do to help our teens deal with stress, in a healthy way, to build resiliency and to improve coping skills to overcome struggles. Wednesday, January 16 from 6:30pm-8:00pm in the YLHS library. Speaker is Melinda Heim, LMFT, YLHS Wellness Specialist.

Principal's Message

Welcome to Yorba Linda High School, home of the Mustangs! Since opening in 2009, YLHS has built a reputation for academic excellence, strong community ties, and student engagement. As a California Distinguished School and a Gold Ribbon School, we have a 90% pass rate in Advanced Placement exams and rank among the top 10% of public high schools in Orange County.

Our mission is to have every student "Run with the STAMPEDE"—embracing Service, Teamwork, Achievement, Mastery, Passion, Ethics, Dedication, and Excellence. These values guide us in preparing students to demonstrate respect, responsibility, and integrity.

At YLHS, our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to student success both in and out of the classroom. We offer numerous opportunities for involvement in quality programs, including athletics, arts, and clubs. Here, every student can find their niche.
