Welcome Mustangs!

My name is Ms. Fritz and I am one of the Visual Arts teachers at Yorba Linda High School.  This is my 28th year teaching in the Visual Arts and I am truly committed to providing a quality Art education to students.

I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Art with a Studio Art emphasis at Cal State University Fullerton. I also received a supplemental degree in Home Economics with a fashion focus. I completed my Single Subject teaching credential in Art and later went on to receive my Master of Science Degree in Education. I also hold a Career Technical Education (CTE) Credential and continue my education as a member of the California Art Education Association and the National Art Education Association.

I am currently teaching Art Fundamentals, Drawing & Painting, Advanced Drawing & Painting, AP Studio Art, Brand Creation, Advanced Brand Creation, and Art Projects. Art is my passion. I am fully committed to providing a meaningful and hands-on learning experience. I want students to build confidence while creating art and learn how to communicate visually using imagery to tell their own stories.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. We enjoy sports activities, catching a movie, family game night, etc. I have a non-stop schedule away from YLHS with my two boys, but enjoy every moment of it! I am looking forward to a wonderful year and can’t wait to work with each and every one of you!
